Excellent prep work, and clean up, comes on time, keeps you informed of work plan. Tender care of our delicate windows and door on our house built in 1800. Ed replaced the gaskets on 2 of our doors, restored 2 lamps we had on the outside of the house, making them shiny copper! He did extra hand brushing of paint on some of our old, rough clapboards for better coverage. He had great, creataive paint suggestions for improving the look of the house. He even made a custom street number sign that matches the house! He is We cannot say enough good things about Ed and his team! Everyone who goes by the house raves at the transformation!

My house is beautiful now. Ed went over and above to do a wonderful job. He not only painted but did some small repairs and made arrangements with a local carpenter to take care of some unxpected problems that came up. He was here every day on time and always pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend him to everybody. I am constantly getting compliments on the appearance of the house.

We have a lakeside cottage that had not been painted in decades. The exterior paint was peeling and flaking, and the original wooden windows had lost most of their glazing. I can’t begin to write how happy I am with the final results of Ed’s work. From the beginning, Ed was enthusiastic and very helpful throughout the entire process. It’s the second time EKW has painted my house, the first was many years ago. The results were as beautiful the second time as the first. My home is 221 years old with siding of varying age and gets extremely beat up by the weather in Washington. They spend a lot of time scraping, sanding and prepping the house and the results are fantastic, people actually stop me while I’m walking my dog to ask if I got vinyl and say “wow” when I tell them it’s paint. I wasn’t really considering any other painters because I was so happy with their work in the past but I did get one other estimate from another local painter and it was about the same as EKW. Communication is good along the way and they’re dedicated to your job once they start. They’re very approachable with any concerns, and handles everything with a real professional touch. They WILL be at my house again!
